Job Summary

A hospital management company has an open position for a Remote Practice Documentation Field Coder in Mcallen.

Must be able to:

• Review the provider note, populate all supported codes and assist submission of encounter for claim processing
• Review the medical records, outside results and health plan data for upcoming patient appointments and flagging important insights
• Conduct pre-submission chart audits and deliver provider feedback prior to billing

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelors University/college degree
• Certified Medical Coder
• 2 years in Risk Adjustment Coding
• 10+ years in a healthcare environment
• Previous Experience as a Clinical Documentation & Coding Consultant
• Must be able to conduct pre-submission chart audits and deliver provider feedback prior to billing
