Remote Technical Support Representative
Job Summary
A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Technical Support Representative.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Being the customer contact and exhibiting the ability to effectively communicate over the phone
- Walking the customers through common phone hardware and software configurations
- Scheduling a technician dispatch for on-site service calls when necessary
Qualifications Include:
- Ability to multi-task in a Microsoft Windows environment and utilize multiple programs for troubleshooting
- Requires customer contact and the ability to effectively communicate over the phone
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime is required
- Experience with common internet software is preferred
- Can escalate appropriate technical issues to upper-level technical support when needed
