Job Summary
A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment HCC Coder I.
Responsibilities:
- Review medical records for accurate diagnosis code abstraction
- Code following coding guidelines and client specific coding guidelines
- Communicate findings, errors, and suggestions to Team Lead
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Nationally certified coder in good standing through AAPC or AHIMA
- 1-2 years' experience in medical risk adjustment / HCC coding
- Experience in HCC record abstraction and coding requirements
