Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep a strong eye on the customer's needs, with a focus on providing long-term value
- Evaluate and ensure the technical effectiveness of the product - scalability, maintainability, cost to deliver, and operability
- Mentor the team to achieve a balance between speed to market, architectural excellence, and maintainability with a focus on company ROI
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields strongly preferred
- 10+ years of significant experience in software development roles, with expertise in Java or .NET
- 5+ years of experience leading and/or managing teams
- Experience with cloud solutions, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Agile development experience, including working with the Atlassian stack, especially JIRA
