Texas Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision and training for staff, including performance evaluations and recruitment
• Offer strategic legal advice on compliance matters and protect the organization's rights in negotiations and litigation
• Manage relationships with outside counsel and ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12 - 15 years of relevant experience; Juris Doctorate required
• At least 3 years of in-house experience supervising outside counsel
• Experience in staffing, training, and performance management
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products
