Coding Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager, Coding responsible for overseeing coding operations and ensuring adherence to coding guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily communication with direct reports and team leads
- Implement audits to ensure adherence to script, customer service, and system documentation
- Manage physician professional fee coding and provide accurate answers to coding and billing questions
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of outpatient EM/office procedure coding experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience
- Knowledge of the revenue cycle and industry-accepted coding principles
- Experience with Epic or eClinicalWorks and Microsoft Excel and Word
