A company is looking for an Inpatient Corporate Coding Coordinator (Remote based in US).
Key Responsibilities
- Performs second level coder reviews on accounts from various sources
- Provides education and guidance to coders based on second level reviews
- Assists the coding manager with coder inquiries and codes inpatient accounts as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of acute hospital coding experience
- Associates Degree in Health Information Management
- RHIT or CCS certification
- Skilled and working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Ability to analyze coding related reports and take action
