Coding Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a QA I Coding Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on the accuracy of code captures for assigned coders, ensuring a minimum of 95% accuracy
- Conduct image reviews for proper HCC mapped diagnosis coding and complete internal audits as necessary
- Respond to coder inquiries and communicate quality issues and trends to team leads and managers
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Coding certification required through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CRC, CCS, etc.)
- Minimum of one to three years of HCC coding experience
- Demonstrated greater than 95% accuracy in HCC coding work
- Expertise in medical record auditing and adherence to coding guidelines
