Engineering Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to join their product organization and lead a team of full-stack developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, coach, and line-manage a team of engineers executing at a high level of technical excellence and stability
- Communicate a vision to the team and ensure buy-in and commitment while creating a fulfilling environment for career development
- Act as a technical leader for the team, regularly giving feedback to engineers of all skill levels
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience people managing a team of developers
- 5+ years work experience in Python or a similar programming language with some exposure to Python
- Experience in at least one popular Python web framework (preferably Django) or a similar popular web framework in another language
- Good understanding of SQL and efficient database usage
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, modern JavaScript frameworks, build tools, HTML, and CSS
