Insurance Follow Up Representative
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative - National Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payment on outstanding claims
- Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and root causes
- Prepare documentation for appeals and ensure accurate setup of accounts in the system
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience in insurance follow-up and knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
- 1+ years of experience in appeal writing and processing
- Working knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and basic Anatomy
- Computer aptitude with familiarity in Windows PCs and ability to learn new systems
