Lead Nodal Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Nodal Analyst - Transmission.
Key Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert in energy markets and nodal modeling
- Support the sales team with domain expertise and lead projects to deliver energy market models using PLEXOS software
- Create Proof of Concept studies and deliver technical presentations to prospective clients
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in energy markets with a strong understanding of energy economics and market fundamentals
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, Operations Research, or a related field
- Experience with energy market supply and demand modeling via optimization/unit commitment
- Knowledge of electricity markets, nodal pricing, and congestion analysis
- Familiarity with commercial modeling tools such as PLEXOS, PROMOD, or Aurora
