Medical Coding Educator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Coding Educator to support physician solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, administer, implement, and update the overall professional services coding education program for coding associates
- Work with quality assurance and compliance teams to determine training needs and maintain and monitor training plans for staff
- Educate new and existing coders on compliant coding and promote correct coding guidelines and initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of experience in production coding within professional services
- AAPC or AHIMA coding credential CPC, CCS-P (RHIA or RHIT may be considered)
- Ability to interact with other employees through effective communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work assignments
