Job Summary
A company is looking for an Outpatient Oncology Coder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate code assignments for outpatient oncology records
- Code specialties including outpatient, emergency, laboratory, observation, radiation oncology series, specimen, and therapies series
- Work remotely from a home office and maintain a secure work environment
Required Qualifications:
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS or COC certification
- Experience in oncology coding
- A minimum of three years' coding experience
- Knowledge of NCCI edits, LCD/NDCs, and modifiers
- Ability to work independently, be detail-oriented, and adapt well to change
