Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder, CPC, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstracts and assigns diagnosis and procedure codes from patient records for billing and reimbursement
• Audits medical records to ensure proper coding and compliance with regulatory agencies
• Collaborates with departmental leadership to provide coding feedback and education on documentation and coding practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred
• Two years' coding experience preferred
• Two years' healthcare experience preferred
• Required certifications include CCS, CPC, CIRC, COC, CCS-P, CCA, RHIA, or RHIT
