Job Summary
A medical solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Corporate Outpatient Coder.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with ensuring timely, accurate and complete coding of ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT and HCPCS
- Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
- Fostering a team environment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Required 5 years of hospital coding experience
- Outpatient CPT and HCPCS coding experience required
- Demonstrated success in coding with consistent accuracy
- One or more of the following Credential(s): RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC, CPC
- Must have knowledge of multiple hospital information systems
- Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
