Remote Hospital Inpatient Medical Coder
Job Summary
A business strategy and consulting services firm has a current position open for a Remote Hospital Inpatient Medical Coder.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results
- Extract data and apply appropriate ICD-10 and PCS diagnosis codes
- Accurately code conditions and procedures
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3 years previous work experience coding hospital acute care inpatient records
- CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification
- Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as medical terminology
- Advanced knowledge of coding clinics ICD-10 CM and PCS
