A company is looking for a Facility Coding Inpatient Complex Coder.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze medical records to accurately code diagnostic and procedural information
- Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes, ensuring complete records
- Provide coding quality assurance and compliance with regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent training in medical record keeping
- Active certification as CCS, COC, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
- Three or more years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care facility
