Remote Payment Representative
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payment Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and electronic posting functions for all patient accounts, ensuring cash balancing and reconciliation of bank deposits
- Maintain knowledge of insurance rejection/denial processing and post relevant information for collection and follow-up
- Reconcile bank and special accounts, including research, payment transfers, and refunds
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of related experience, with a focus on payment posting preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Tenet systems is a plus
- Experience with data entry and 10-key by touch
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
