Job Summary
A higher education univeristy is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Student Advisor Manager.
Must be able to:
- Manage a team of Student Advisors, lead and motivate team, meet and exceed department and student expectations
- Provide guidance and support to the team by empowering them to properly advise and assist students
- Monitor team’s progress and provide guidance/follow up, including tracking of Departmental metrics
Required Skills:
- A college degree or comparable work experience required
- Supervisory experience required; Remote supervisory experience preferred
- Able interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
- Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues
- Understand consultative selling, uncovering buying decisions and understand customer needs
- Able to multi-task and learn and leverage a variety of software applications, customer service standards and procedures
