Remote Technical Coder III

Job Summary

A health care provider has an open position for a Remote Technical Coder III.

Must be able to:

• Refer problem accounts to appropriate coding or management personnel for resolution
• Review coding for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to billing system utilizing CCI edits
• Utilize computer applications and resources

Skills and Requirements Include:

• High School or GED equivalent
• Three years hospital coding experience
• Completed an AHIMA or AACP-certified Coding program, Bidwell Training School or equivalent program
• Requires CCS or RHIT or RHIA or Certified Professional Coder certification
