Job Summary
A health care provider has an open position for a Remote Technical Coder III.
Must be able to:
- Refer problem accounts to appropriate coding or management personnel for resolution
- Review coding for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to billing system utilizing CCI edits
- Utilize computer applications and resources
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School or GED equivalent
- Three years hospital coding experience
- Completed an AHIMA or AACP-certified Coding program, Bidwell Training School or equivalent program
- Requires CCS or RHIT or RHIA or Certified Professional Coder certification
