The following statistics* underscore the flexibility and stability remote jobseekers can achieve with home-based and virtual jobs as well as the value employers place on providing telework opportunities to their team members, especially during COVID-19.

  • 96.41% were 100% remote jobs requiring no travel or on-site work.
  • 79.04% were posted directly by employers rather than by staffing agencies.
  • 71.26% required experienced candidates with a background in that role and/or career field.
  • 64.07% required a bachelor’s degree or some college.
  • 58.08% were permanent positions.
  • 56.89% were full-time remote jobs.
  • 28.14% were entry-level remote jobs.
  • 27.54% were remote jobs posted by 100% virtual companies.
  • 23.95% were remote jobs for independent contractors.
