Virtual Vocations has compiled key telecommuting statistical findings and telecommuter data into their Virtual Vocations 2016 Year-End Report to better understand telecommuting trends and insights that will shape the remote work landscape during 2017.

This year we turned to our own company data as well as to the latest in Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) jobs forecasting to create a ‘Top 10’ mid-year report for the first half of 2016. Our report surveys telecommuting trends by state, career industry, job type, and employer.

A hallmark of Virtual Vocations’ “March Madness Telecommuting Celebration” was a lighthearted, 10-question survey of more than 700 registered Virtual Vocations members: the Telecommuter’s Tell All Survey. This questionnaire, which polled our site members about everything from their coffee consumption to the time of day they experience optimum work performance, was issued to our registered members via email and was completed on a voluntary basis.
