Wyoming Remote Work Resources

Despite its massive size, Wyoming is actually the least-populated state in the Union—with even fewer people than Alaska. But with stunning scenery, the world’s first national park, the start of the women’s suffrage movement, and an authentic Old West vibe, the Cowboy State has more to offer than meets the eye. So explore the vast wilderness at your leisure with a remote job and these Wyoming Remote Work Resources.

About Wyoming

In 1890, Wyoming became the 44th state to join the United States. Just 18 years later, President Theodore Roosevelt immortalized the state by making Yellowstone America’s first national park. Today, Yellowstone remains one of the most-visited national parks, inviting over 4 million visitors each year to Old Faithful and other attractions. Yet Wyoming’s modern history doesn’t end there. In 1869, Wyoming was the first state or territory to pass laws giving women the right to vote. Today, this is the reason why Wyoming is also known as the Equality State.

Fortunately for the avid outdoorsman, hiking through Yellowstone National Park isn’t the only form of entertainment. In the northeast, Devil’s Tower National Monument is the perfect photo-op and a modern-day link to Native American culture. Plus, with loads of mountain biking, skiing, whitewater rafting, boating, and hunting opportunities, the adventuresome remote worker will have plenty to do. Throw in the excitement of a University of Wyoming football or basketball game and the Wild West-reminiscent towns of Cheyenne, Laramie, and Casper, and Wyoming is a unique, exciting destination.

“In Wyoming, the beauty of our mountains is only matched by the grit of our people.” – Liz Cheney, U.S. Representative from Wyoming
