Job Summary
A company in the business services industry is looking for a Director of Benefits Consulting Group to lead strategic efforts in achieving goals for the growth, revenue, and success of the voluntary benefits practice.
Position Responsibilities:
- Define the revenue and growth strategy for voluntary benefits through engagement with new and existing clients
- Partner with sales and service leaders to sell a holistic product/service offering to clients
- Manage and mentor a team of sales and account management professionals
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of overall voluntary benefits experience with a proven track record in sales related to voluntary benefit management
- Strong understanding of the broker ecosystem and the ability to navigate it
- Professional designations preferred such as CEBS or VBS
- Licensing in Life & Health required; Property & Casualty license required in first 45 days of hire
