Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder In/Outpatient.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, and sequence clinical information from various medical records including inpatient and outpatient
• Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure confidentiality of patient records

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience coding inpatient medical and surgical cases
• Experience with Epic and 3M coding systems
• Active CCS, RHIT, or RHIA credential
• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• Able to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST
