Job Summary

A company is looking for a Facility Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Code and abstract clinical and demographic data for inpatient and outpatient encounters
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in clinical documentation and charge capture
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform medical necessity checks

Required Qualifications

• Certified AAPC or AHIMA coder
• 5 years of coding experience
• Experience in inpatient/facility coding
• Knowledge of ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Specialty experience in ER, Pain Management, Injections, or Infusions
