Director of Quality Engineering
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of IT Quality Engineering, responsible for leading test automation strategies and managing quality engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality engineering plans, resource allocation, and budget requirements
- Define and execute processes for quality defect reviews, test case coverage, and performance metrics
- Manage team performance, coaching, and resource optimization across the IT department
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of relevant IT experience with 8+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in creating strategies for quality engineering related to cloud migration and cloud-native technologies
- Strong foundational knowledge of test automation, performance testing, and quality engineering practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and managing vendor contracts
