Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Review unpaid invoices in the ETM System and maintain accuracy in processing
• Contact carriers to inquire about unpaid claims and report any errors affecting claims processing
• Participate in monthly meetings and communicate unusual circumstances regarding claims with supervisors

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of medical billing experience preferred, focusing on research and claim denials
• Knowledge of physician billing, healthcare reimbursement, Medicare, and Medicaid preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Must be computer literate, with Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
