Senior Insurance Follow Up Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Insurance Follow Up Representative to join their team remotely in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payment on outstanding claims
• Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and payer behavior
• Prepare documentation for appeals and ensure accurate setup of accounts in the system

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in insurance follow-up
• 3+ years of experience with EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
• 3+ years of experience in appeal writing and processing
• Working knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and Basic Anatomy
