Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Contracts, Commercial and M&A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on global contracts, commercial issues, and M&A
- Create and revise standard contract templates and review global contract forms
- Advise on all aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and drafting
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited university
- Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut or admitted to practice in another state with ability to obtain CT Authorized House Counsel certification
- 7+ years of legal experience with emphasis on contracts
- Prior in-house commercial experience and experience evaluating and mitigating risk
- Experience working both in-house and in a law firm
