Technical Accounting and Reporting Director
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director - Technical Accounting and Reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the authority on technical accounting matters, maintaining and developing financial accounting policies and procedures
- Lead a team in operationalizing complex technical accounting positions and provide internal consultancy on group reporting
- Support departments and key stakeholders on financial accounting matters and advise on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- CPA/ACA qualified accountant with significant PQE and excellent technical accounting knowledge
- Experience of SOX/Internal controls and a continuous improvement mindset
- Deadline driven with a focus on no surprises and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Experience leading and developing a small team of professional specialists
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of NetSuite or comparable general ledger system preferred
