New Employer Partner Program Members—Q2 2023 State of Remote Work

Seven remote-enabled companies joined our Employer Partner Program during Q2. Jobseekers who hope to land a new fully remote role in the second half of the year will be encouraged by hiring trends, including those from new Employer Partner Program members, observed by Virtual Vocations Employer & Business Partnerships Specialist Erin Feldman.

In April, May, and June I was encouraged to see fully remote job openings from across virtually every industry, from technology and education to non-profit and real estate. We know jobseekers are open to career change. As many as 37% of workers changed careers due to the COVID-19 pandemic and, this year, more than 80% are actively looking for a new job. Employers want to remain competitive, especially in a highly saturated remote job market, so their job postings need to be varied to attract top talent. Q2 fully remote job postings show remote-enabled companies are paying attention.
