We chatted with Vladimir Kogan, CEO of Nevada Autism Center, to delve into the organization’s mission, their remote work journey, and their benchmarks for recruiting top talent. Uncover what to expect when joining Nevada Autism Center and tips for standing out as a remote candidate.
Has Nevada Autism Center always been remote?
We are an applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy center so most of the work is done in the clinic setting. However, a lot of administrative and marketing work is done remotely.
What are you looking for in candidates in terms of culture fit with your organization?
As a whole autism community, we are very close and keen to develop long relationships both with our clients and internally within our company.
How important is a resume and/or LinkedIn when making hiring decisions?
Our company LinkedIn profile self-generates a decent amount of inquiries from pre-qualified personnel, so this one is hugely important. A catchy resumes gets to the eye of our HR decision makers, so I’d suggest making it as robust as possible.
Are you fairly structured in terms of work hours or are they flexible?
Some marketing positions, like the one we currently have posted, are very flexible.
Nevada Autism Center aspires to be a cornerstone and benchmark in the community for local ABA centers, their emphasis always being on the children first. Their foundation is built on ethical practices tailored to the unique needs of each child and backed by data-driven, evidence-based interventions.
The NAC team brings together the most devoted, empathetic, and educated behavior analysts, technicians, and staff to provide a warm and nurturing community-centric environment for children — for one-on-one therapy, social skills groups, and collective play.
